New Grounds For Impeachment Proceedings: Trump Administration Violates The Constitution By Refusing To Comply With Court Orders

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 12, 2025) – Impeach Trump, a non-partisan campaign led by Free Speech For People, has added a new basis for an impeachment inquiry against President Trump: the Trump Administration's flagrant disregard for the judiciary.

Among the administration's noted transgressions are its refusal to release $2 billion in foreign aid despite court orders, its failure to comply with directives preventing the Office of Management and Budget from freezing federal assistance, and its non-compliance with a court order requiring Charles Ezell from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management to testify in person on March 13, 2025.

Courtney Hostetler, Legal Director of Free Speech For People, commented, "Our nation's founders enshrined checks and balances to guard against tyranny. Trump has not only usurped legislative powers but is now trouncing judicial authority, leaving Congress no choice but to act with an impeachment investigation."

The campaign had already been tracking multiple abuses of power by Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign prior to these judicial defiance actions.
